Skipping ahead feels good — until you hit networking or troubleshooting with no foundation. The quiz doesn’t need to be perfect. It needs to prove you absorbed the module before you move on.
How Anyone Can Use It Properly (Step by Step)
This is the workflow I recommend for beginners and for engineers prepping CKA/CKS.

Create your personal session
Open k8s.naveedkumbhar.com. In the Account popup:- Enter your name
- Choose a 4–6 digit PIN
- Click Create my session
- Copy and save your Session ID (e.g.
K8S-XXXX-XXXX) + PIN somewhere safe

Start with Module 01 only
Module 1 is always unlocked. Don’t jump to Ingress or GitOps on day one. The path is sequential on purpose. -
Read “Key Concepts” before any video
Each module lists what to listen for. Read that list first so YouTube videos become recognition practice, not noise. -
Watch 1–2 videos using the search terms
Search the suggested YouTube terms yourself. Channel quality changes over time — search stays fresh. Don’t binge 10 videos. One solid explanation + one deep dive is enough. -
Do the hands-on lab
Use any local cluster you like:minikube/kind/k3d- Or a cheap managed sandbox if you already have one

Tick the checklist honestly
Only check an item when you can actually do it (or explain it out loud). The checklist is for you — cheating only hurts you. -
Take the Module Quiz
Answer all 5 questions → Submit.- ≥ 70% → PASSED → next lesson unlocks
- < 70% → review the red/green answers → retake

Move to the next unlocked module
Use the Next button (or the sidebar). Locked modules stay locked until you pass the previous quiz. -
Come back the next day
On the same browser, your session restores automatically. Progress does not reset.
If you cleared site data / switched browsers / changed devices: open Account → Resume with Session ID + PIN, or use Import backup.
Personal Sessions Explained
Why sessions exist
Without sessions, progress lived only as anonymous browser storage. That caused two problems:
- Someone else using the same browser could overwrite your progress
- You had no clear “this is my learning account” identity
Now each learner creates a session. Checklists + quiz results belong to that Session ID.
Same day / next day (same browser)
Just reopen k8s.naveedkumbhar.com. Your name shows in the top bar. Continue where you left off.
Another device or after clearing browser data
- On the old browser: Account → Export backup (downloads a JSON file)
- On the new browser: Account → Import backup → select the file → enter your PIN
Or use Resume with Session ID + PIN if the profile already exists on that browser.
Treat Session ID + PIN like a simple password. Don’t share them if you care about keeping your quiz progress private on a shared machine.

Suggested Study Rhythm
- Beginners: 1 module per day (or every other day) — ~3–4 weeks for Phase 1
- Working DevOps engineers: 3–4 modules per week — finish Phase 1–2 in a month
- Exam prep: finish all modules once, then loop Phase 2–3 with timed labs
One focused module beats a weekend binge. Consistency compounds faster than intensity. If you fail a quiz, that’s feedback — not failure. Re-read the key concepts, re-lab, retake.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Skipping labs and only watching videos
- Checking checklist items you can’t explain out loud
- Trying to unlock later modules by guessing quizzes without reading
- Using a shared browser without your own session (progress collisions)
- Not exporting a backup before switching laptops
